Workshop on Rethinking Waste

Rethinking Waste Workshop

Take part in a free interactive online workshop about changing how to manage waste, which will be held on Wednesday, 6 March 2024.

Led by Good for the Hood founder Jo Taranto, Hawkesbury residents will meet other local changemakers and listen about the circular economy (what it is and how it works), the path to more active actions on combating waste and litter, and to create a local project of their own.

The online workshop offers a glimpse of the state of waste and litter in the Hawkesbury Local Government Area, and ten ways attendees can incorporate the circular economy into your community this year.

“Join this FREE, interactive workshop with co-founder of Good for the Hood, Jo Taranto. Jo has worked with ABC’s War on Waste and Fight for Planet A: Our Climate Challenge and has seen communities all over Australia taking action to make cleaner, kinder and more sustainable choices,” the Hawkesbury City Council mentioned.

The workshop will run from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and is available to Hawkesbury residents only. Registration can be booked online via Humanitix here: Rethinking ‘Waste’ (For Good) in the Hawkesbury
