Westinvest Delivers $4.8 Million Makeover For Turnbull Oval, North Richmond.
It’s a far cry from the 1930s when Turnbull Oval was originally an orchard in Hawkesbury.
Fast forward to 2023, and the announcement of $4.8 million in funding from the NSW Government’s WestInvest program is a game-changer for the club members, their families and locals who use the oval.
This funding boost will deliver a grandstand, a new clubhouse with a commercial-grade kitchen and amenities, improved playing fields and netball courts, a new playground, perimeter fencing and upgrades to the car park.
It’s great to see this funding made available west of the river.
Hawkesbury City Council will co-fund the project and aim to deliver the best possible outcomes.
